Hoo Motors in Kiowa is under new ownership. Bret Wager, a graduate of Calhan High School and longtime Elbert County resident is excited to provide quality, used vehicles to the public, just as its former owners Dave and Linda Ehmann have done, for the past 29 years. “I have known Dave for 25 years. I would like to thank he and Linda for the opportunity to continue this business and serve the community.” He describes the Ehmann’s dealership as “a reputable business, I want to carry that on, I want customers to feel comfortable and happy to be here.“ Wager has been an auto auctioneer in Denver since 1997 and has been up and down the front-range working on the wholesale side of the auto business for 14 years. He has family in the real estate business in the area and he likes to hunt, team rope and spend time with his grandchildren in his free time. Wager‘s plans include an expanded inventory and more financing options for his customers. A service he can provide for you if needed, is a VIN verification. Wager does not charge dealer handling fees at his dealership. The staff at Hoo Motors consists of Tarah Lewis, a secretary in the office and Steve Murray on the lot, who preps, cleans and maintains the vehicles.
